不捨貓咪遭惡意遺棄街頭，中市許姓婦人收養流浪貓逾20年，飼養數量從最初的2隻至今80隻，在親朋好友全力支持下，3年前辭去全職工作，以照顧貓為重心；還禮讓自己原居住的透天厝給貓住，全家改搬到小公寓生活，當貓奴仍樂此不疲。
44歲的許婦表示，20多年前，當時還是男朋友的丈夫帶她到親友家領養2隻波斯貓，後來2貓生了3隻小貓；從此開始，她特別注意路上流浪貓，起初只定點餵食，後來見流浪貓生病帶回照顧後，陸英文寫作魔法師續成為家庭成員。
許婦說，既然自己已伸援手帶流浪貓回家，就要把牠們照顧好！家中貓成員不斷增加，不論是只有3隻腳或患有先天疾病都是她的寶貝；為醫治流浪貓，她將月薪扣除生活費後，全花在貓身上。
許婦笑稱，因家中貓口數量太多，加上婚後有了子女，決定讓出自己原本住的3樓透天厝給貓咪，一家4口搬到小公寓生活，家中只留需要特殊照顧的貓咪同住；在親朋好友支持下，家庭經濟壓力得以減輕。
